The figure of Riciulina is etched in the same direction in Lieure 386 (BM impression, 1861,0713.882); a study for the paired figure is also in the BM, 1895,0915.79. A reworked counterproof of the present work was used for the transfer the figure to the plate, see 1895,1214.82.
