- This is the fourth plate from an edition printed by Hieronymus Höltzel, Nuremberg, 1511. It consists of a title-page and 19 illustrations, all but the last with Latin text in antiqua letterpress on the verso. This copy is bound together with the 'Large Passion' series (1895,0122.607 through 618) and the second Latin edition of the 'Apocalypse' series (1895,0122.580 through 595). For further information see 1895,0122.641 (Meder 188).
A remarkably close copy of this woodcut, on paper with an eighteenth- century J. Honig & Zoon watermark, came in for an opinion 7 May, 2004 (scan in GB's holding area).
