Zweiter Jahrgang" (Munich, Verein für Original-Radierung) 1893; containing 12 etchings of various sizes and subjects, including fantasy, landscape, biblical, figure, animal and allegorical subjects, and a rectangular titlepage vignette by Otto Gampert showing a river or pond lined with trees. 1. Hans Anetsberger, "Idylle", a large landscape-format etching showing a pensive knight in armour dismounted from a grazing horse, listening to a boy piping; 2. H. E. von Berlepsch, "Kirchhof in Ragusa", a cluster of corinthian columns in a woodland setting; 3. Maximilian Dasio, "Heil. Sebastian", St. Sebastian bound to a tree at left, with bowed head and arrows in his heart and abdomen, a group of trees in the centre and a hill-top town in the distance, printed in blue-black ink; 4. C. Th. Meyer-Basel, "Insel Reichenau", water surrounded by thick reads on either side, with the white gable end of a house in the distance; 5. F. B. Paulus, "Alter Mann", old man, bust-length gazing to his right, a brimmed hat shading his eyes; 6. J. Manefeld, "Obstbäume", an orchard of fruit trees with sunlight slanting in from right; 7. Wilhelm Leibl, "Knabenbildnis", small-format etching with head of a young boy; 8. Hubert von Heyden, "Tigerkopf", head of a tiger in profile turned to its right; 9. C. Schmit-Helmbrechts, "Gespenst", a spectre lurking in a cave, with dandelions and a crescent moon, in a rectangular frame surmounted with three small crosses and set within figurative border showing mermaids, sea creatures, a crowned frog, and printed in blue; 10. Prof. Peter Halm, "Netzflicker", man seated by a window mending a net; 11. Walter Ziegler, "Jugendfreunde", small etching with two young boys arm in arm, perhaps with aquatint; 12. Ludwig Raders, "Musik", large octagonal with a seated female allegory of music, playing a violin-like instrument, with naked child at her lap surrounded by plants and flowers. Bound with titlepage and list of contents and prices.
