- From 'The Houghton Gallery', see 2005,U.109 for comment.
According to Wessely, the published states of 'A Fruit Market', 'A Herb Market', and 'A Fish Market', are lettered "G. Farington delt." This print, however, is lettered with "Joseph Farington".
After the painting attributed to Frans Snyders, now in the Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg, inv.no.GE598; see M. Galen, 'Johann Boeckhorst: Gemälde und Zeichnungen', Hamburg, 2012, cat.no.A51.
