Furius Camillus liberating Rome from Brennus; Camillus running up, drawing his sword on the right, soldiers ascending the slope behind him, to halt the payment of 1000 pounds weight of gold to the Gallic chief Brennus, in return for his agreement to leave Rome, which takes place to the right, overseen by the Gaul and the tribune Sulpizio, who bows his head, adding his sword to the scales which are supported by two slaves; classical building in the background; after Sebastiano Ricci; published state before 'é Vende a Venezia' erased. 1763

- According to Calabi & de Vesme, the detail of sale at Venice was erased when the plate was bought by Piranesi; it was published in 'Raccolta di alcuni disegni di Barbieri da Cento detto il Guercino', Rome, 1764; the date is also taken from Calabi & de Vesme.
