- One drawing has the registration number 1891-9-17-29*, and the two prints of facsimiles have been registered under one number (1891-9-17-29).
There are additional manuscript numbers 1-28 on the recto and/or verso of most album leaves.
The album also includes a manuscript note about the two artists, another note (dated 19th September 1841) from the Duke of Sussex to Prince Albert's Treasurer on the subject of John Harris junior, and a cutting from the 'Times Literary Supplement' with a column on 'John Harris, Facsimilist'.
The facsimiles of Shakespeare's signature are accompanied by a label stating the provenance of the originals - a deed or sale and a mortgage.
