Description
A book of 52 prints by Philipp Andreas Kilian after various contemporary and Old Master painters, representing biblical scenes in rococo frames. With engraved quotations from the Bible in Latin and German beneath and in cartouches on the frame above. With stamp (of a cardinal?) on the first page: "A. E. S. I. A. N. G. P. 1776". Bound together in red at the BM bindery. Etchings and engravings.
