The Abstinence of Scipio; scene on a colonnaded balcony with Scipio Africanus seated on a throne under a canopy at left, wearing a laurel crown and pointing at a woman who is standing at right and thus granting her permission to return to her fiancé rather than claiming her for himself, her fiancé kneeling before him and holding the woman's hand at centre, her family and ladies-in-waiting beyond, a lictor and a servant picking up a wine-vessel at left, two Roman soldiers in right background; after Peter Paul Rubens. c.1787/88

- The lower part of the copper plate, which included a commentary on the scene, was cut off.
