- The subscription for the print was advertised in 'Affiches, annonces et avis divers', 22 March 1780; in 'Journal de Paris, 29 March 1780 (where it is said that an impression would cost 9 livres until June 1780, then 12 livres). The publication of the plate was announced in 'Affiches, annonces et avis divers' on 27 June 1781. Further mentions are made in the same newspaper on 5 December 1781, and in 'Journal de Paris' on 17 May 1782 and 26 June 1784.
