Portrait of Hans von Aachen, bust to left, in an oval with an elaborate surround (the oval portrait is a separate plate 125.00 x 100.00 mm); the portrait is set within an architectural altarpiece surmounted by a female figure holding a billowing sail-like piece of material; she has long hair that falls down, locks of which are held by Hercules and an allegorical figure holding an easel and brushes representing Art who flank the portrait; after Pieter Isaacsz. 1605 Engraving
