Four sketches, clockwise from top: 'Callington', a crucifix on a pillar in a village with a man standing behind a tomb to right; 'Launceston', a man kneeling and looking to right into a shelter built into a low hillside with a broad arch forming the entrance; 'Copstone' two men talking, one sitting with his back against an obelisk carved with geometric designs with a thatched house behind to left; 'Plymouth', a well in a landscape under an archway constructed of slabs with trees behind and to right. 1811
