- This print is part of a bound set of 'Le celèbre Tapyserie de Raphaël d'Urbin', a series of twenty-one prints (title and twenty plates) executed in Rome between 1778 and 1780 by Ludwig Sommerau, and reproducing the Vatican tapestries after Raphael's cartoons.
The album, in blue leather with gold border, lettered on the spine 'L. Sommerau. Les Tapisseries de Raphael. Rome 1780', contains the complite set published in Rome in 1780; it includes the title-page and twenty echings (1888,0612,142.1-21).
