'Costumes du Directoire tirés des merveilleuses avec une letter de M. Victorien Sardou / 30 eaux-fortes de A. Guillaumot fils avec un portrait de M. V. Sardou dessiné et gravé par M. Guillaumot père / dessins de MM. Eugene Lacoste et Draner d'après des estampes du temps tirés chez Chardon Ainé' (Paris: Rouquette) 1875; containing 30 hand-coloured etchings, each plate showing a whole-length man or woman in fashionable costume, with no background. Together with title-page printed in red and black, profile bust of Victorien Sardou etched by Guillaumot as frontispiece, publisher's device, letter by Victorien Sardou including head and tailpiece and wood-engraved initial letter, list of illustrations and preface. Bound at the British Museum bindery in green leather, with raised bands and gold lettering at the spine, marbled endpapers.
