Plates 1-8 of Hodgson's theatrical characters for the toy theatre, for the play 'Ali Pacha'; the first two plates showing soldiers marching in pairs, the first also with a single man holding long spear with crescent moon; the second with a standard bearer; the third plate with servants carrying large gold vases and jars; the fourth with a dancing girl, soldier, slave, soldier, and two servants holding gold vase with large handles; the fifth with more servants carrying golden objects; the sixth with Zenocles, Ali Pacha, alis Soldier, Alis Banner, and Selim; the seventh with a citizen of Yanina, Talathon, Zenocles, Ismall, an soldier, and Helena; the eighth with a women of Yanina holding child, Alis Soldier, Mouchtar, dancing girl, Zenocles, and Hassan; all hand-coloured, published states. 1822
