A broadside on the sad state of the world and the decay of society; with four engravings, the top showing in the centre the two philosophers Democritus and Heraclitus reclining against a sphere covered with a jester's cap, on the left a table surrounded by the Pope, a cardinal, and various rulers gambling, in the background a naval engagement, a battle scene, and a burning city, in the top centre a comet of 1618, with engraved inscriptions, lettering A-Q, and legend; the engraving on the left showing six scenes from the Old Testament, with engraved inscriptions, and lettering A-F; the engraving on the R six scenes from the New Testament and two sightings of comets of 1618 and 1660, with engraved inscriptions, and engraved lettering G-M; the engraving on the bottom showing a flood of 1660, two comets of 1662 and 1663, people dying from an epidemic (?), and religious images, with engraved inscriptions and lettering N-Y; with letterpress title and text, including legend, in three columns engraved, and another set of texts in three columns.(n.p.: [1664])
