Studies of details from the monumental effigy in the chancel of Ash Church, Kent, assigned to Sir John Laverick, including studies for those numbered 1, 2 and 3 on plate 61 in Stothard's 'The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain', published by Mrs Anna Eliza Bray, 1817-32, one of a large group of studies for this volume; consisting of the buckle of the sword-belt, ornament on front of basinet, ornament on the bottom of the genouilliere, and stylized lions set within panels. 1811
