Effigies said to be that of Sir Roger de Bois and his wife Margaret, in Ingham Church, Norfolk, study for plate 58 in Stothard's 'The Monumental Effigies of Great Britain', published by Mrs Anna Eliza Bray, 1817-32, one of a large group of studies for this volume; at left female figure, with mutilated arms and animal at her feet, at right male figure, with mutilated forearms, wearing armour, a dog at his meet and part of a figure behind his head, both figures wearing mantles, with a circular badge bearing the Cross of St Antony, also separate studies of badge and part of girdle
