Chess; a perpetual check - game drawn, study for a satirical print in the series 'Political Sketches', published by Thomas McLean, 1821-1851; Stanley and Russell playing chess, Stanley unable to win, challenges Russell to another game, while Peel, Sir James Graham and another figure look on; inscribed with speech. 1840.
