- Although Binyon calls this a View on Exmoor, it came into the collection with the three views in the Valley of Stones (LB 29-31) and was described as part of that group in the register, although it is not inscribed with that title as the other three are. There is a very similar work in Leeds City Art Gallery (13.171/53) which is inscribed "Dartmoor" (for xerox and further details see dossier).
