Curator's comments
This impression was published in Rudolph Ackermann's periodical 'The Repository of Arts'. In 1816 Ackermann decided to reprint in volume form those from the series that described contemporary London under the title 'Select Views of London', along with a set of architectural notes by John Papworth. The print is recorded in both Adams's discussion of the 'Select Views' and in the Abbey catalogue for the Repository of Arts.
