View of the iced-over River Thames during the Frost Fair of 1814, from Bankside; Blackfriars Bridge and St Paul's on the left, London Bridge, the Monument and St Magnus on the right, a number of tents and stalls on the ice surrounded by revellers, one tent displays the signs "Good Gin" and "City of Moscow", to the left of the tent people play skittles, on the right a whole sheep hangs to be roasted next to two swing-boats. 1814
