- Hughson's (or David Pugh's) 'Descriptions of London' consisted of six volumes, although only four of these are directly concerned with London, as volumes 5 and 6 focus on the environs: Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Herfordshire and Essex. Therefore, Adams only records the prints from the first four volumes and those extra plates added by James Robbins in his later publication of the work. A total of 70 plates are recorded by Adams for this work.
