Bowyer), 1816; containing 'A map exhibiting the retreat of the French army from Moscow to Paris', and 14 hand-coloured aquatints titled 'Dantzic', 'Precipitate Flight of the French through Leipsic pursued by the allied armies', 'Grand entry of the allied sovereigns into Paris', 'Fac similes', 'Moscow', 'Frankfort', 'Dresden', 'Rosiere', 'Berlin', 'Leipsic', 'Grand entry of the allied sovereigns into Leipsic', 'Porto Ferrajo', 'Waterloo / Conveying the French cannon from the field of battle on the 24th July 1815', and 'View from Mont St Jean of the battle of Waterloo at the commencement of the grand charge made on the French about 7 oclock in the evening of the 18th June 1815', together with a wood-engraved view of the Island of St Helena within the text. Bound in tan half-leather, with marbled covers, raised bands and gold tooling on spine, marbled endpapers.
