Mark Akenside, 'The pleasures of imagination' (London, Cadell & Davies), 1814; containing frontispiece showing a standing muse attended by four putti, illustrated title-page showing an old pilgrim sitting under an overgrown archeway holing a cross with a crescent moon in the distance; essay on Akenside's poem by Mrs Barbauld. Bound in quarter leather, with original boards, gold lettering on label at the spine.
