- From 'Collection des meilleurs ouvrages françois, composés par des femmes, dédiée aux femmes françoises', a collection of texts written by women gathered together by Louise-Félicité de Kéralio and published in fourteen volumes in 1786-89.
The volumes were not issued in the right order.
Volume I was published by Keralio and Jean Lagrange at the Palais Royal in 1786.
Volumes II to IV and X & XI were published by the same at rue Saint-Honoré in 1787.
Volumes IX and XII to XIV were published by the same at rue Saint-Honoré in 1788.
Volumes V and VI were published by Keralio and Claude François Marande in 1789.
It is likely volumes VII and VIII were never published.
The books were illustrated by plates designed by Jean Jacques François Le Barbier (volumes I & IX) and Jean Florent Defraine (vols. X-XIV) and were engraved by N. Thomas.
Volumes IX to XIV are dedicated to Madame de Sévigné's Letters.
