Street-scene; a young, sturdy and dishevelled woman in an apron, pushing a barrow of cucumbers to right, her mouth open in a cry; behind at right, a thin tailor sitting on a bench in an open window, his left hand on an iron pressing down on a bundle of cloth, in a building on the side of which is a sign, the three barrels (?); a younger man with sleeves rolled up leaning on the corner. 1823
