- IFF 5 describes a print with the same title also after Ingres, but published as plate 321 in 'Souvenirs d'artistes', circa 1860.
The original painting by Ingres is at the Musée des Beaux-Arts at Angers. Another version of the subject, also by Ingres, is in the Musée Condé at Chantilly.
