Curator's comments
According to Matthias Mende in Schoch 2001-04, this probably dates from the first half of the seventeenth century, and would have been aimed at the collectors' market keen to acquire works associated with Dürer. It is a poor quality copy made in the reverse sense of a woodcut, 'Christ shown to the people' bearing the date 1521, which was itself made by an imitator of Dürer, possibly Sebald Beham, see BM Ee,2.211, and Schoch 2001-04, II, p.530, no. A24.
