Two woodcut illustrations first used in Ulrich Zasius, Nüwe Stattrechten und Statuten der loblichen Statt Fryburg im Pryszgow gelegen, Basel, A. Petri, early 1520 (2°); the present impression was taken from an edition titled "Der Statt Fryburg im Prisgow Statuten und Stattrechten; a) title-page with the coat of arms of Freiburg im Breisgau, containing two lions with the shields of Austria (at top) and of Freiburg (below) and festoons above; b) on the verso a representation of the Virgin and Child, flanked by St George and St Lambrecht; seated in a niche, with architectural frame, decorated with masks, medaillons, fruits, festoons and two shields. c. 1520
