- According to Dodgson, a work by Lucas the younger. Koepplin and Falk regard the work as an original by Cranach the elder or from his workshop.
The print was used in several editions by Georg Rhau 1532-46 and Nickel Schirlentz 1542-45.
An earlier impression is also extant at the BM.
