- This is too small to be related to Schnorr's 'Picture Bible' of 1860 (see 2011,7071.5) but rather is a study for the woodcut (106 x 138 mm) in the Bible published by Cotta, published in parts between1846-50 (vol. ?, p.269, Joshua, Chapter 5) also used for the Allioli Bible and the edition published by Brockhaus. A larger study of Joshua for the People's Bible was published by Schahl (v.13.12.27).
