- Curator's comments
From an unidentified edition, perhaps the one published in London from 1715, or the re-edition of the latter published by P. Gosse in La Haye in 1726. This edition included a frontispiece (Picart), a portrait of Palladio (Picart), and 203 plates engraved by Cole, Gucht, Harris and Picart.
For a different state which does not mention Veronese in the production details, see 1875,0710.540.
