Accompanied with copious descriptions, and a sketch of the poet's life' (London, Vernor & Hood) 1803; containing 12 etchings by Storer and Greig of Weston park, each plate with tissueguard, verse below and title: 'The Peasant's Nest', 'The rustic bridge', 'The alcove frm the avenue', 'View from the alcove', 'The wilderness (from the grove)', 'The temple in the wilderness', 'Weston Lodge, the residence of the late W.m Cowper Esq.r', 'Weston House (from the grove), the seat of George Courtenay Esq.r', 'The elms', 'The shrubbery', 'Olney Church', and 'Olney Bridge'. Together with etched title-page with vignette of Cowper's summer house, text on the life of Cowper and description of Weston Park; label 'Illustration of Cowper' on inside cover. Bound in red bookcloth, with gold lettering on the spine.
