- Sayer also published this view after Rigaud but engraved by S T Torres in 1750 (for an impression see 1880,1113.2276). The source of both was the large drawing made by Rigaud in 1736, before the Abbey improvements were certain.
This impression was published by West as part of his mid-nineteenth century 'Collection of Views' taken from the stock of John Bowles and his successors.
