"Die Wandgemälde im Ball-und Concert-Saal des königlichen Schlosses zu Dresden. Erfunden und ausgeführt von E. Bendemann. Mit erklärendem Text von Joh. Gust. Droysen" (Dresden, Ernst Arnold) n.d. [1870?]; a porftolio of 11 prints after the frescoes by E. Bendemann in the ball-room of the King's palace in Dresden, on subjects of childhood, gymnastic games, music, marriage, sacrifice, bacchanalia, hunting, and age, with mythological compositions including Peleus and Thetis, Apollo, Dionysos, Alexander's banquet, and personifications of the arts and a homage to Homer. Together with title print showing wall elevations, and letterpress fascicle with explanations in German, English and French. In original decorative portfolio with title flanked by lithographic figures of "Inspiratio" and "Meditatio" within ornamental border.
