Room in Burlington House, Piccadilly; interior view of a high room with Corinthian pilasters around the walls, and ornate mouldings around the ceiling and around the frames of two doors on the far wall, to the left a fireplace is visible and to the right is a small group of people, four ladies in shawls and bonnets and a man with top hat and tailcoat, the floor is highly polished and reflective. 1855

The second Burlington House was built by Lord Burlington the architect, bought by the Government in 1854 and is now occupied by the Royal Academy, with the addition of a storey added in 1873.
