- One of a large series of drawings and watercolours of buildings and antiquities in London by John Wykeham Archer, in 17 portfolios (mostly stored offsite); for further information on the series, see registration number 1874,0314.1*.
Before the Reformation St Saviour's Church was called St Mary Overy. It is now called Southwark Cathedral or The Cathedral and Collegiate Church of St Saviour and St Mary Overie. Part of the church was pulled down and replaced with a new building in 1838-9 when restorations took place.
