The Devil walks between the Bishop of Exeter and Wellington, supported by, and towering above them, looking down with a diabolic grin. The bloated bishop walks with his crosier and holds a bag inscribed '£40000 I have been shearing the Flock'. Beside him are two shorn and dejected sheep. Wellington holds a sword and a levelled pistol; proof before the published state.
