'An Anglo-Indian domestic sketch. A letter from an artist in India to his mother in England' (Calcutta, W. Thacker & Co; London, Smith, Elder & Co) 1849; containing over 200 vignettes after Colesworthey of flower, figures, fruit, trees, animals, churches, buildings and objects related to India. Together with frontispiece showing a building from the outside and an interior with small table, chairs and painting, dedication to the artist's mother, and index to illustrations. Bound in red bookcloth, with gold tooled title with blidn tooled border on the cover.
