Portrait of Henry IV, full-length, striding to the left, holding his sceptre in one hand with his other at his hip, bearded with a crown upon his head, in a long robe open at the knees to reveal his breeches, a mantle lined with ermine about his shoulders, a jewelled collar about his neck, the whole surrounded by a decorative frame with oak and laurel leaves, the title lettered to a cartouche above with urns garlanded with flowers on either side, his arms beneath; illustration to Raymond's "A New, Universal, and Impartial History of England" (1754)
