- Some prints within the range of Registration Numbers 1872,1012.5786 to 5932 have been catalogued separately.
Most prints are lettered with engraver's surname 'Gobert', but no British engraver with this surname could be identified. There may be a problem with the transcription of this name, and the correct spelling could be 'Gaubert'. Thieme-Becker does have an entry for a steel engraver named 'Gobert', describing him as of French or British origins, but living in Russia. However, the illustrations described here for the Russian publication 'Pamyatnaya knizhka' were made in Britain.
