Title-page with title written in a rectangle placed in a classical monument, surmounted by the personification of Rome, a female figure holding a sceptre and a miniature statue of Victory, who is flanked by the Lupa Capitolina and the personification of the Tiber, on the left of the rectangle stands the personification of Prudentia, holding a snake and a mirror, on the right stands the personification of Justitia, holding scales and a sword, below the rectangle a compass with a scroll with motto; title to Etienne Winand Pighius' "Annales Magistratuum et Provinciar S.P.Q.R. ab urbe condita" (Antwerp: 1599)
