A busy scene with sheep in enclosure and men at work shearing at right, livestock amongst the crowds behind which includes many portraits, the Duke of Bedford on his horse in the centre; prize notices pinned to a tree at right, a table in the left foreground with medals and statues, the pavillion behind, inscribed: "Erected by the Duke of Bedford 1801"; the figures numbered 1-87, a key below. 1811 Aquatint, stipple, etching and engraving
