A book on the subject of angling, with directions on how to catch various species of fish, types of baits to use and advice on the management of rods amongst other useful information, with several plates of fish and fishing scenes. 1808. The images as follows:
1. A trout and a grayling
2. A gentleman fishing for minnows in a fast-flowing stream, wading in the water with a net held against his shoulder and his rod cast, mountains and hills beyond
3. A gentleman flyfishing with his rod cast in a pool with a small waterfall beyond, another gentleman sitting to the right holding his net
4. A salmon
5. A gentleman fishing for pike with his rod cast into a small calm pond with another gentleman holding the net to assist him, tall reeds beyond
6. Two gentlemen float-fishing with rods from a small boat tied between two posts, one standing and the other sitting on a chair, another man with a net in the water
7. A perch and a pike
8. A carp, a tench and an eel
9. A bream and a barbet
10. A chub, a roach and a dace
11. Several fishing hooks and flies
12. Hooks baited with minnows and dragonfly larvae, other hooks, a basket and a horn containing stone flies
