'Poems, by William Cowper, of the inner temple, esq. in two volumes. Vol. I' (London: J. Johnson) 1806; containing 4 etchings after Fuseli: 'Virtue reclaiming youth &c' by Bromley, 'A dressing room' by Rhodes, 'A mother with her family in the Country' by Rhodes, and 'The negro revenged' by Raimbach. Together with frontispiece showing 'The poets vision / Sing the sofa' by Raimbach after Fuseli, showing a young woman with an harp asleep on the sofa while two angels look at her, one of them holding a laurel over the sleeping figure. With preface by John Newton dated 1782 and table of contents. Bound in red leather, with gold lettering at the spine, marbled endpapers and gilted edges.
