Thomas Billonius [Billon], "Sibylla Gallica Seu Felicitas Sæculi Iusto Regnante Ludovico" (Paris) 1624; containing 7 engravings relating to the childhood and reign of Louis XIII, including four scenes of childhood in ovals by Michel Faulte, Louis XIII sitting in his robes with his mother and other officials, portrait of Louis XIII as Apollo, portrait of Anne of Austria as Diana by Crispin de Passe, portrait of Louis XIII on horseback by Faulte, Louis XIII riding under a canopy towards a town, and scene of Louis XIII's first communion by Tavernier. Printed throughout the letterpress text, and bound with engraved titlepage by Michel Lasne showing figures of Faith and Justice either side of title, with lunette containing portrait roundel of Louis XIII supported by female figure of France, laureate with ermin. Vellum binding.
