Two scenes; the first from Constantina; Mr. Betram, well-dressed in a frockcoat and hat, with his stick held above his head; rescuing Constantina who lies on the ground; having been struck with an umbrella by a gentleman to the right; the second from The Towers of Segovia; a gloomy dungeon; Don Guaveaux having fainted upon his bed of straw; beyond, Roc and Leonora entering the prison, one bearing a torch and the other a spade and pickaxe; illustration to Kerr's "Ancient Legends or Simple and Romantic Tales"
