A broadside satirising Sir Robert Walpole; with an altered engraving, originally by Paul Fourdrinier after Dumouchel, showing a pedestal with four Corinthian columns connected by arches, in their centre right Walpole climbing a rock, accompanied by a figure representing Policy, on the left Minerva in a cloud, greeting Walpole and presenting him with a crown, above the group hovers Fame with two trumpets, at the top of the arches the figure of Britannia, at the bottom corners four medallions; with engraved title, inscription, lettering A-M, and text, and with letterpress title and text in two columns. - Curator's comments
- This plate was later re-worked to change its message, with additional letterpress either side giving a letter from Walpole to Caleb d'Anvers, a general pseudonym then in use by contributors to the periodical "The craftsman" (cf BMSat 1844).
