A series of 220 woodcuts in woodcut borders by Vigil Solis, showing in two parts subjects from the Old Testament (103) and New Testament, including the Apocalypse (117), including two title-pages within a woodcut border; and with one printer/publisher's device at the end of the first part, showing the winged figure of Fame blowing two trumpets; each title-page with German letterpress title (the first title-pages printed with red and black); and each illustration printed with Latin and German verses, wanting the last leaf of the second part (colophon), published in Frankfurt am Main by Feyerabend and associates Zöpfel and Rasch.1562

- The first edition was published in 1560. This is the second, enlarged edition, with 74 new images and woodcut borders from the 1561 Bible.
The New Testament part is wrongly dated 1552 on the title-page.
