- From a volume (396 x 305 mm) containing prints by forty-two artists including Doré, Manet, Corot, Millet and Daubigny, illustrating the work of various poets (Paris: Alphonse Lemerre Éditeur, 1869); each etching shown in duplicate with the first impression, opposite the sonnet, printed in sepia ink, the second on the following page in black on grey chine collé, with table of poets, artists and titles at back; volume bound in green buckram with marbled endpapers; from an edition of 350.
A page at the front of the volume states that the illustration was under the direction of Philippe Burty.
